Talk Business Arabic Classical is an interactive course on CD-ROM that is
intended for people who have already reached intermediate level
in Arabic Classical and who wish to learn vocabulary and expressions used
in business situations. Talk Business Arabic Classical will enable you to learn
useful phrases and expressions effortlessly and will allow you to get by more easily and
confidently in Arabic Classical in business and work related situations.
The program's interactive approach enables fast learning of phrases used in common business
situations. The topics covered in the course are: vocabulary, on the
telephone, business meetings, business trips, careers, negotiating, transactions/buying
and selling, marketing/advertising/public relations, Internet/communications, banking/finance/trading/accounting.
All the phrases and dialogues are always presented and pronounced by male and female native speakers.
Initially, study is focused on recognizing and reproducing basic phrases used in the various topics.
The exercises, which progress in difficulty, facilitate the understanding and
memorising of the phrases studied and the learning of their correct pronunciation. Talk
Business Arabic Classical enables learners to record new phrases and to compare
them with phrases pronounced by native speakers and to actively participate in dialogues.
The scores obtained in the quizzes and tests allow learners to easily monitor their progress.
In addition, learners can print out the entire phrasebook and glossary for each section studied.
As with all the products in the Talk Business series, the interface is available in several
languages and the CD-ROM will work in Windows PCs and Macintosh OSX computers.
