The French <-> English Ultralingua Dictionary on CD-ROM is practical
and easy to use and can be installed in computers running Windows and
Macintosh systems. It is a useful resource for students and professional
people who use French and English regularly.
This French-English dictionary on CD-ROM contains over 350,000 words and
expressions and offers general terminology and technical and slang vocabulary.
The dictionary incorporates an advanced multi-criteria search facility which
is capable of recognising word endings. In any Windows or Macintosh application,
you can place the cursor over a word and the translation will appear in a popup
window. The drag and drop function then allows you to insert the word into other
applications. There is also a simultaneous translation system and users can
customise the dictionary by adding their own words.
The CD-ROM includes a French and English verb conjugation module, grammar notes for
both languages, a number to written numbers converter and a selection of templates for
letter writing.

20 MB of hard disk space, CD-ROM drive.
