Talk More Japanese is the follow-on
from Talk Now
Learn Japanese for absolute beginners. This CD-ROM course is
ideal for learners who already have some basic knowledge of Japanese and who wish to
consolidate their previously acquired language skills. Talk More Japanese will enable
you to learn useful phrases and expressions effortlessly and will allow you to get by
more easily in Japanese during a trip abroad, whether on holiday or for business.
The CD-ROM's interactive approach enables fast learning of phrases used in everyday
situations. The themes and subjects studied are: the alphabet, greetings, at the
restaurant, shopping, directions, at the hotel, on the telephone, emergencies, leisure,
business.
All the phrases and dialogues are always presented and pronounced by male and female
native speakers. Initially, study is focused on recognizing and reproducing basic
phrases used in the various themes and subjects. The exercises, which progress in
difficulty, facilitate the understanding and memorising of the phrases studied and
the learning of their correct pronunciation. Talk More Japanese enables learners to
record new phrases and to compare them with phrases pronounced by native speakers and
to actively participate in dialogues. The scores obtained in the quizzes and tests
allow learners to monitor their progress.
In addition, learners can print out the entire phrasebook and glossary for each section
studied.
